The Steel Canvas provides a custom motorcycle engraving service for customer-supplied chrome and metal parts. Every design is developed around the shape of the part, the available engraving area, and the rider’s concept—then cut individually by hand.

Custom artwork and lettering

Possible themes include scrollwork, skulls and roses, Old English lettering, Chicano- and lowrider-inspired artwork, names, slogans, memorial text, portraits, faith imagery, and biker themes. The photographs show previous work; your design will be created for your own part and project.

Every motorcycle part differs in size, curvature, holes, coating, surface condition, and engraving access. Send clear photographs, dimensions, the motorcycle year and model, and your design idea before purchasing. We will confirm whether the part is suitable and provide a project quote.

• Small caps or bolt covers: from $75
• Small timing or point covers: from $150
• Horn covers: from $225
• Derby covers: from $275
• Portraits, heavy detail, and matching sets: quoted individually

The listed $25 price is a non-final design/quote deposit. It is not the total price of an engraved part. Final cost, turnaround time, shipping arrangements, and any corrected order amount will be agreed before work begins.

How the process works

2. We review the part and discuss the artwork.
3. You receive a quote and estimated schedule.
4. After approval and payment, the part is engraved and returned as agreed.
