Customers under the age of 18 may make a purchase only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
2. Orders and Payments
All orders must be paid in full before production, engraving, customization, or shipping begins.
We may accept major credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, and other secure payment methods made available during checkout.
All prices are listed in United States dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices, product availability, and promotions may change without notice.
The Steel Canvas reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order due to suspected fraud, payment issues, pricing errors, product unavailability, prohibited content, or other reasonable business concerns.
If an order is cancelled after payment but before production begins, an appropriate refund may be issued.
3. Custom Engraving and Personalization
Many products sold by The Steel Canvas are custom-made, hand-finished, engraved, or produced specifically for the customer.
Customers are responsible for reviewing all names, dates, spelling, wording, images, measurements, fitment details, and design instructions before submitting an order.
Information submitted by the customer is considered final once production or engraving begins.
The Steel Canvas is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect, incomplete, unclear, or inaccurate information provided by the customer.
A digital proof may be provided when appropriate or when specifically agreed upon. Production may not begin until the customer approves the proof.
Approval of a proof confirms acceptance of its spelling, layout, artwork, positioning, and design details.
Changes requested after approval or after production begins may require additional payment and may not always be possible.
4. Customer-Supplied Designs and Content
By submitting photographs, logos, artwork, text, trademarks, or other materials, the customer confirms that they own the material or have permission to use it.
The customer accepts responsibility for any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or intellectual-property claims relating to customer-supplied content.
The Steel Canvas reserves the right to refuse designs that are unlawful, threatening, defamatory, hateful, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate.
5. Shipping and Delivery
The Steel Canvas may offer domestic and international shipping depending on the product and destination.
Production and delivery estimates are provided as estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Delivery times may vary based on product complexity, customization requirements, order volume, shipping destination, carrier performance, customs processing, weather, and other circumstances beyond our control.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
The Steel Canvas is not responsible for delays, losses, or additional costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer.
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country.
The Steel Canvas is not responsible for carrier delays, customs delays, or other delivery interruptions outside our reasonable control.
Risk of loss passes to the customer once the package has been confirmed as delivered to the shipping address provided during checkout.
6. Returns, Cancellations, and Refunds
Because engraved, customized, personalized, and made-to-order products are created specifically for each customer, all sales of such products are generally final.
Custom products cannot normally be returned or refunded because of a change of mind, incorrect customer-provided information, or dissatisfaction with approved design details.
Order cancellations may be accepted only before design work, material preparation, engraving, or production has begun.
If an item arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the approved order due to an error by The Steel Canvas, we may provide a repair, replacement, store credit, or refund, depending on the circumstances.
Customers must contact The Steel Canvas within three business days of confirmed delivery and provide:
- The order number
- A description of the problem
- Clear photographs of the product
- Photographs of the packaging when shipping damage is involved
Customers should retain the original product and packaging until the claim has been reviewed.
We may require the item to be returned before issuing a replacement or refund.
Unauthorized returns may be refused.
7. Product Quality and Handmade Variations
Products created by The Steel Canvas may include hand engraving, laser engraving, hand finishing, polishing, darkening, coloring, or other artisan processes.
Minor variations in engraving depth, positioning, alignment, texture, color, patina, contrast, finish, or appearance may occur.
Natural material characteristics, manufacturing tolerances, lighting conditions, screen settings, and photography may also affect how a product appears.
Reasonable variations are part of the handmade and custom-production process and are not considered defects.
8. Fitment and Compatibility
Customers are responsible for confirming product dimensions, model compatibility, fitment, installation requirements, and intended use before placing an order.
Any compatibility or fitment information provided by The Steel Canvas is based on available manufacturer information, supplier information, measurements, or customer-provided details.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, The Steel Canvas does not guarantee compatibility with every vehicle, firearm component, accessory, model year, modification, or aftermarket configuration.
Professional installation may be recommended for certain motorcycle, automotive, mechanical, or specialty components.
The Steel Canvas is not responsible for damage resulting from incorrect installation, improper use, unauthorized modification, or incompatibility that could reasonably have been identified before installation.
9. Product Use and Safety
Customers are responsible for using and installing products safely and in accordance with applicable manufacturer instructions, laws, and regulations.
The Steel Canvas is not responsible for injury, property damage, mechanical failure, or other loss caused by improper installation, misuse, modification, neglect, or use of a product for an unintended purpose.
Products should be inspected before installation and use.
10. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all website content—including original designs, photographs, graphics, logos, text, product descriptions, videos, branding, and engraving artwork—is owned by or licensed to The Steel Canvas.
This content is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual-property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, publish, display, or commercially use our content without prior written permission.
Purchasing a physical product does not transfer ownership of the underlying artwork, design files, photographs, or intellectual-property rights.
11. Product Photography and Portfolio Use
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, The Steel Canvas may photograph completed products and use those photographs for portfolio, website, social-media, advertising, and promotional purposes.
We will make reasonable efforts not to publicly display private customer information, addresses, phone numbers, or other sensitive personal information.
Customers who require confidentiality should contact us before production begins.
12. Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices, availability, and other website information are accurate.
However, typographical errors, pricing errors, technical errors, or outdated information may occasionally occur.
The Steel Canvas reserves the right to correct errors, update information, cancel affected orders, or limit quantities when reasonably necessary.
13. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website may use or link to third-party services, including payment processors, shipping carriers, social-media platforms, analytics providers, and other websites.
