Description

Hand engraved Zippo Armor lighter created as a one-of-one rider heirloom. Deep bas-relief scrollwork is cut into the brass surfaces, framed by steel-toned accents, and joined by the road blessing “May the Angel Ride With You.” The completed lighter is signed by the engraver and will not be duplicated.

Genuine Zippo Armor platform

This work begins with a genuine Zippo Armor lighter. The heavier case construction provides substantial metal for deep engraving while preserving the familiar windproof, refillable lighter mechanism.

The lighter remains functional, but its case has been transformed into permanent metal art. The design is not a decal, printed wrap, or shallow surface etch.

Deep-relief brass engraving

Flowing ornamental scrollwork is cut, textured, and finished across the front, sides, and selected accents. Recessed backgrounds create depth that can be seen and felt, while polished high points catch the light and emphasize the warm brass.

Every surface is worked individually. Natural differences in line placement, depth, patina, and hand finishing are evidence of authentic engraving. This listing represents one completed lighter, not a production design awaiting duplication.
